UT Apparel I Student Projects: Spring 2010

The first project in Apparel 1 is making a T Shirt and then adding a surface design. The students began by collecting inspirational images and pinning them to the storyboard. Before sewing the final garment they practiced sewing each seam on small samples. Next, they created the patterns, cut fabric, and constructed the whole shirt. A surface design was created by each student and you can see that each is individual and unique. They all did a wonderful job and worked very hard on this project.
