The first project in Apparel 1 is to create a T Shirt with a creative embellishment. The students used a pattern block to create their own paper pattern, worked on the layout of fabric, pinned patterns, carefully cut the fabrics and used different sewing machines. Everyone did a great job with the construction and I was pleased with how quickly they are learning these new sewing skills. I was also impressed with how creative this group is.
