Spring 2011 | Project 4 - Jeans

Jeans are the final project in Apparel 1. This is a challenging project and I'm happy to say that the whole group did an amazing job. I'm impressed by how some students pushed the jean design really far. The students started with a generic jeans block and then created their own patterns. Some changed the jean pattern into a skinny jean, flared leg, or just made a custom fit so they could wear them. The next steps were cutting fabric, sewing, and pressing. There were challenges with the buttons and button holes but other than that everyone did a great job . There are front, back and detail photos for each jean. What a great semester!
