Spring 2012 | Project 1 - TShirt

The Knit T Shirt is a classic fashion item. It is the first garment that the Apparel I students will create. They began by choosing a pattern block and then creating their own patterns from it. The next step involved is laying out the fabric, pinning patterns, and cutting. Before they sew the T Shirt, all the students tried the seams and seam finishes on small samples. The sewing of the T Shirt was challenging in certain areas but overall the students did a great job. Each student designed their T Shirt to reflect their style and you can see them all below.
