The students have finished their final projects: shirts that include a collar, buttonholes & buttons, cuffs and set-in sleeves. This was the most challenging project for them this semester, especially the set-in sleeves, which the students showed great determination in conquering (which they all did well). I also like the creative adaptability I saw in mastering button holes. The addition of a surface decoration to the finished shirt also helped make each one unique. Their creativity and skills really shine in this project.
The professionalism I saw from this class all semester was very impressive - the attendance and preparation were exceptional, they had a real willingness to learn, and I was pleased to see all of the students helping each other out in so many ways. This was a strong start for all of you, well done!
