The students' last project was to create a skirt or pant while utilizing all the skills they have learned throughout the semester. Patterns, layout, cutting, pinning, interfacing, seam finishes, hems, and zippers were some of the techniques used when creating this project. The students worked independently on this project, and did an excellent job carrying their projects through from beginning to end. The Apparel I students this semester have all shown a firm grasp of the fundamentals and I can't wait to see what they do next.
